Two airboat teams with six men were sent out to Minot late last night. They arrived in time for a 10 PM briefing. The Airboat teams spent 8 days in Bismarck just two weeks ago. The Sheriff’s department says when they got the call, none of the men hesitated to go.

Duwayne Nitschke – Cass County Sheriff’s Department: “The dedication of these people are amazing, when the call came out, the sheriff contacted us yesterday and the guys were pretty eager and ready to do their part, that’s why we’re here.”

Officials say the teams will be there for the long-haul, with no return date set yet.
