Maguga Dam is fast becoming a buzzword in the Bass Fishing fraternity. The dam covers about 1,042 hectares and is nestled in the vast Lubombo Mountain Range in the Komati River Basin.

Maguga Dam is situated a mere 35 minutes from either Jeppe’s Reef or Oshoek border posts. Access is signposted from the main Piggs Peak road, the dam is about 12 km south of the town.
